BORN GLOBAL UKRAINE The Born Global Ukraine program aims to swiftly and effectively assist founders and entrepreneurs in internationalizing their companies while helping participants launch new Born Global enterprises. DELEGATES: 22 UA Trainers (alumni Export Consultants) will train under international mentors to develop structured adult training programs. Recruitment Goal for the Pilot program: Reach 1,500 individuals through 10 regional HACKATHONS, selecting 500 participants (100 teams) for training and mentorship. Outcome: Launch or internationalize at least 50 companies within three years. Master Training OUTPUTS (November 2024 – February 2025) UA trainers will: Design, develop, and validate training materials in English for the pilot program. Deliver the program to local Born Globals in Ukrainian. Training Structure: Delegates are divided into two groups, each completing four modules. We strongly encourage you to attend all modules to fully understand the content and instructional style. Delegates will review and evaluate five home assignments per module. Your responsibility: Co-create training materials and tools for the Global Business Plan and develop a delivery plan for workshops. Review, test, and provide feedback on second-stream content, and evaluate the effectiveness of workshop tools. SCOPE of Work: All eight training modules must: Be interconnected, consistent, and of equal difficulty. Enable participants to develop a comprehensive Global Business Plan. Focus on interactive learning sessions, avoiding lecture-based formats. Pilot Program Training Materials Slides Ukrainian (translated from English), with a uniform style. Training videos: Up to 90 minutes per module, in 15–20-minute segments, recorded online using tools like Zoom, and include a provided background image. Practice recording sessions will be conducted, with the final recordings completed after Unit #4: Action Learning. All training materials and videos will be uploaded to the Talent LMS platform. Workshop materials: Include tools, delivery plans, slideshows, polls, questionnaires, and tests. Home assignments: Focused on three key tools per module, contributing to a comprehensive Global Business Plan template. Time Commitment: 6 hours of learning time per week at maximum. Born Global Pilot Program (March-August 2025) Following the methodology developed during the master training, UA trainers will: Train at least 80 teams over four months. Conduct 8 online workshops and feedback sessions for up to 100 teams (approximately 500 participants). All training and mentoring sessions will be conducted online, subject to the evolving situation in Ukraine. Topics of 8 training modules: Module #1: Global Mindset and Cultural Sensitivity. Mentors: Jean Sutton, Anu-Mall Naarits Module #3: Innovative Thinking. innovation in business development, or market approach. Mentor: Artem Daniliants Module #4: Financial Acumen. Managing finances effectively to sustain global operations and growth. Mentor: Andrew Paterson Module #5: Strong Networking Skills. Building a robust global network Mentor: Uwe Sponholz Module #6: Marketing and Branding Expertise. E-commerce and Marketplaces. Mentors: Martina Vazzoler, Anne Laitinen Module #7: A Global Business Language and Communication Skills. Mentors: Artem Daniants, Steve Rawling Module #8: Risk Management and Adaptability. Mentor: Andrew Paterson Structure of PILOT PROGRAM: week 1: opening training materials on Talent week 2: workshop and home assignments week 3: HA check and feedback The training duration will be 3 weeks per module. UA trainers are giving feedback on the best homework, made by participants for their Global Business Plan.
